About
2023 was a special year for me because it was the first year I hit a larger book volume. For several years, I was more so in the ~10 a year territory. Then in 2022, I hit ~20, then 2023 was 31. Now at this point, I’m finally seeing the “density” of the list get strong enough to a point where all 20 spots are taken by heavy hitters.
Given how contextual books are though, both in terms of learning—”When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” ie people learn when they’re ready to learn—and in terms of emotional or experiential resonance, I’d like to keep increasing density though.
Interactive List
If you can’t see the interactive element above, you may be able to go to your settings in Chrome and search “graphics” and then turn on “graphics acceleration.” It’s probably on by default. I often have to turn it off while screen casting to our TV.

Since you can only zoom in so much on this, this is a concession option, but I included it anyway.
p.s.
One of my favorite resources in the world is bookmarked.club by Kevin Rooke if you’re interested. It’s less topically arranged than my quick summaries, but much higher volume, by nature. And it’s the best curation that I’m aware of for book recommendations from elite thinkers and company builders (so it’s naturally skewed toward those types of recs too).
